Try Tennis® for Kids! $50 gets your child a youth racquet, towel and 6 hours of instruction! A great way to Try Tennis. Choose Juniors then scroll to these towns/facilities to check if they have a program: Morrisville at Church Street Park, Holly Springs at Club at Sunset or Ting Park, Apex at Nature Park or Community Park and Cary at Kildaire Farms. Junior Match Play – This is a great next step for kids taking clinics and lessons to learn about match play and a perfect program on the pathway to Junior Team Tennis and tournament play. Program consists of practices and matches with instruction from a coach.   • North Main Athletic Complex – 1151 N. Main Street – 4 classes – Feb 15 and 22 at 3:00 t0 4:00 and then March 4 and 11 at 6:30 to 7:30 ages 8 to 16.  Click here to register.

Junior Team Tennis – Participants need to be able to rally, serve and keep score. USTA Membership is required and free for 17 and under. Visit USTA.com and click “Join” (upper right).   • Spring JTT –  2026 matches will be Friday evenings April 10th to May 15th with rain dates on subsequent Fridays as needed and home matches and all practices at North Main Athletic Complex.  Practices will be Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 8:00 on March 18, 25, April 8, 15, 22, 29 with rain dates of May 5 and 12.   Registration fee of $130 includes JTT registration, practices, court fees, and match balls.  We are planning to have  12U, 14U and 18U teams with 4 to 6 players.   Click here to register and/or for more information.

Jr. Central Circuit USTA Junior Circuit is a non-elimination, round robin format for players to gain match play experience with a focus on individual results. Players should be able to serve, rally and score. Future sessions:

Rookie Rally for Kids – Drills and match play for kids interested in the next step – Junior Team Tennis. Learning scoring and etiquette all while improving their skills. Participants must be able to rally, have basic tennis exposure and have their own tennis racquet.  Registration fee is $10/one hour class, $15/1.5 hour class.
