USTA Junior Team Tennis is a 6 to 8 week program of team practice and match play for children ages 4 to 18 where emphasis is placed on fun, fitness, and the social benefits of tennis. Teams are comprised of players of similar age and skill who compete against other teams from the same area in one of five league divisions: 18 & under, 14 & under, 12 & under, 10 & under, or 8 & under.  Players are grouped into either the beginner, intermediate or advanced group based on their ability levels.  More information is available at JTT Format and JTT Schedule.

Grants are available to run USTA Junior Team Tennis, and the NCTA can also provide a free training for those interested in coaching USTA Junior Team Tennis. There is nothing like the team spirit when kids are playing USTA Junior Team Tennis!

Contact Reid Kinlaw – Beginner Division – or Fiona Degnan – Intermediate and Advanced Divisions – for more information.

New flight of JTT will be coming Spring 2020.  Contact Eric at Club at Sunset or Brian at RDU Tennis for how to get into their programs!  Participants can sign up for league only but encouraged to get into programming for practice.   USTA membership is required.  First time members ages 10 and under free for first year.  Check back for dates.  Contact Laura for more information.
