WWTA Fall Mixed Doubles

Fall Mixed Doubles is a fun way to continue playing mixed league tennis well into the fall.  The league will run mid September through mid November.

Format:  Three (3) courts of mixed doubles and all divisions are 18+.  The roster maximum is 15 players.

League Play days:  ***Note Changes for Fall 2026*** Due to facility improvement court closures, some overflow matches may be scheduled on alternate weeknights rather than Friday nights.

Matches will be primarily on Saturday nights with some Friday night matches depending on facility availability at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 or 8:00pm.  Since matches may take place on Friday or Saturday nights for all levels, players should expect overlap between levels for those nights.  No accommodations can be given for the overlap so players should plan accordingly.  Players may only play on two teams (must be different levels).

This is a non-USTA league so a USTA membership is not required.  However, USTA rules, regulations, and ratings apply.  Please note this rule exception – the minimum player rating requirements for each MXD level that are in the USTA Mixed Doubles regulations are not applicable to this WWTA league.

FALL 2026 registration will start on Saturday 8/1/26 and run through Friday 8/21/26. Teams playing out of private facilities must get approval from their facility. All teams approved out of public facilities will be on a first come, first served basis and space is limited.  Public facilities include Town of Apex, Cary, Holly Springs and Morrisville.  Captains need to have 6 (3 men & 3 women) players registered by Friday, 8/21!!

How to Register: Captains will register their team using the Plan 2 Play (P2P) management system.  This is a new system so please be patient as we work out the “bugs” and the new process!!  If you experience issues with the registration process please email: wwtallc@westernwaketennis.com

League registration fee is $15.74 per person ($15.74 = $15.00 league fee + $.74 processing fee).  After captains register and pay their individual league registration fee of $15.74, the P2P system will prompt captains to set up their team and invite their players to register and pay league fee ($15.74).

Player court fees do apply.  Town of Cary captains will receive court registration fee info and links in an email and players need to pay their TOC court fees by the official season start date.  NMAC will bill the captains directly.  Town of Apex and Morrisville team captains will be sent a link to pay TEAM court fees to be paid by deadline given by LLC.

There will be no refunds for any reason for this league.
