Fall Mixed Information: Fall mixed is being added for 2020 since we were unable to offer USTA Summer Mixed. The league will run Sept. 12th – Nov. 14th with a 7 match minimum. The roster maximum is 15. Matches will be mostly on Saturday evenings, with some Fridays. Match times will be 6:30, 7 or 7:30 depending on location. Since matches may take place on Friday or Saturday nights for all levels, players should expect overlap between levels for those nights. No accommodations can be given for the overlap so players should plan accordingly. Players may only play on two teams (must be different levels).
The WWTA Fall Mixed Doubles League is three courts of doubles and all divisions are 18+. Please note the following rule change from Spring: To play on a 6.0 team, no player may be rated higher than 3.0. To play on a 7.0 team, no player may be rated higher than 3.5. To play on an 8.0 team, no player may be rated higher than 4.0. To play on a 9.0 team, no player may be rated higher than 4.5. We hope this rule will make play more fun and competitive.
Playdays – Matches will be on primarily on Saturday nights with some Friday night matches depending on facility availability
How to register as a player for Fall Mixed: Teams wanting to play out of Town of Cary need to enter a lottery due to limited number of teams accepted. Fill out the lottery jotform by 8/19. Once your captain has registered the team, click here to register.
Registration fee will be $13 per player and public court fees apply.
This is a non-USTA league so a USTA membership is not required. However, USTA rules, regulations and ratings apply. Please note one exception – the minimum player rating requirements for each MXD level that are in the USTA Mixed Doubles regulations are not applicable to this WWTA league.

New registration process for 2020: Captains will register their team using a WWTA form (team name and home court location required to register). Click here for the link for captains to register. After the team is set up on Tennisscores, captains will be notified of how their players will register. Minimum number of players required by September 2nd. For town of Cary, depending on level of interest, we may have to limit teams and go to a lottery system. Once your team is approved, you will be given registration and court fee payment instructions. USTA- NC AMENDED REFUND POLICY: Any player registering for League Play for the remainder of the 2020 season is subject to a NO REFUND policy for the USTA NC head tax for COVID-19 related suspension or stoppage of play.
WWTA has adopted the same policy for all registration fees prior to the league start date. After the league start date has passed, our standard refund policy applies. Since we are not giving refunds for fall as well as no refunds for the suspension/resumption of our spring league, we are discounting our fall registration fees.
