Community Spotlight

Western Wake Tennis Associations relies on a small staff, a volunteer Board, and several contractors to manage our day to day and annual business.  So much has to happen behind the scenes – including managing our finances.   Claire Cesta is WWTA’s Accounting Contractor and while we are a small non-profit, A LOT goes into managing our finances and keeping us straight.  Claire’s expertise and appreciation for all that WWTA does makes her easy to spotlight.  In addition to taking care of her family (kids and her mom), taking classes, providing personal training, and playing a little tennis, Claire does all of our payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and taxes.  She played a huge part in helping us manage that COVID year and well, she plays a huge part in managing us every year.  Claire has been on our board for many years providing good insight and talents as well as volunteering at our Abilities Tennis and Wheelchair programs.  Claire, we appreciate you beyond words!!!
