Position Title: Adult Local League Coordinator – Central League

Permanent, Full Time

Western Wake Tennis Association (WWTA) is a non-profit tennis association whose mission is to grow the game and spirit of tennis in western Wake County. The area has seen explosive growth in league participation over the last 15 years.

We are currently seeking an Adult Local League Coordinator to manage our USTA and additional adult leagues in the Central Carolina area.   Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing leagues, which will include distributing league information to both existing players and potential players
  • Overseeing local league regulations
  • Providing customer support to captains and players
  • Providing information to and working and supporting area facilities
  • Helping to develop in league growth programs
  • Working closely with WWTA board and staff to develop a positive league experience for all players in the USTA Central Carolina leagues
  • Attending and running area events as needed
  • Other duties as required by USTA-NC, WWTA board or Executive Director

This is a full-time position with the expectation of average 30 to 35 hours per week, however, hours will fluctuate greatly. While flexible, the majority of hours are Monday through Friday during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. but also hours during evenings and weekends.  The majority of this position is work from home, however, community engagement and local events and meetings are required.
