The Western Wake Tennis Association is managed by an Executive Board of unpaid and volunteer officers elected to represent the membership. This group establishes policies, budgets, and programs to promote the game and spirit of tennis in western Wake County.
Executive Board Members
Laura became the Executive Director in 2016 after serving as the Community Coordinator since 2010.
Sherene is the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for overseeing all WWTA operations. Currently served as President 1/2022 and current term is through 12/2025. Sherene previously served as VP at Large starting 2018.
Jena is the Secretary and official correspondent. Current term 8/2013-12/2025
Debbie is the Treasurer / Chief Financial Officer. She came on our board 9/2019 and her current term goes through 12/2025.
Term 1/2021-12/2026.
Targol is the manager of media releases, social media, website and newsletters.
She started on our board 10/2019 and her current term is through 12/2025.

Paul is a VP At Large. Paul started on our board in 1/2022 and his current term is through 12/2025

Carol is responsible for all USTA league operations.
Michelle is the LLC for all WWTA Leagues. This includes all non-USTA Leagues.
Kari runs the USTA Find a Team/Player program and our Beginner Leagues.
Kirstie is the Int/Adv JTT LLC.
Bill is the Beginner Division JTT LLC.
