Try Tennis® for Kids! $40 gets your child a youth racquet, towel and 6 hours of instruction! A great way to Try Tennis. Choose Juniors then scroll to these towns/facilities to check if they have a program: Morrisville at Church Street Park, Holly Springs at Club at Sunset or Ting Park, Apex at Nature Park or Community Park and Cary at Kildaire Farms. Due to popularity of the program, only new participants to Try Tennis should register. Click here to be notified of future sessions.

Junior Match Play – This is a great next step for kids taking clinics and lessons to learn about match play and a perfect program on the pathway to Junior Team Tennis and tournament play. Program consists of practices and matches with instruction from a coach. Kids should be able to rally and serve some. Contact Laura@westernwaketennis.com with questions.

Junior Team Tennis – Participants need to be able to rally, serve and keep score. USTA Membership is required and free for 17 and under. Visit USTA.com and click “Join” (upper right). Contact Laura@westernwaketennis.com with questions or how to get involved.

• Spring season starts early April with 6-7 matches 5:30 or 7:00 on Friday nights.  We are putting together some Ting Park teams (12U and 14U).   Registration is open.  Practices will be April 4, 9, 18, 25, May 2nd from 6:30 to 7:30 or 7:30 to 8:30.   Cost is $125 and includes  USTA registration fee ($21), court fees, balls, and coach stipends.   Click here to register.  Deadline is March 19th.

Play Day for Kids – Drills and match play for kids interested in the next step – Junior Team Tennis. Learning scoring and etiquette all while improving their skills. Participants must be able to rally and serve and have their own tennis racquet.

Jr. Central Circuit – USTA Junior Circuit is a non-elimination, round robin format for players to gain match play experience with a focus on individual results. Players should be able to serve, rally and score. Future sessions:

Summer Camp – Ting Park – July 8 to 11 (rain date July 12th)  9:00 to 12:30 – for beginners to intermediate players.  Drills, skills development, match play and games.  $110.oo.  Click here to register.
